En el mes de mayo se celebra el Día Internacional de los Museos y este año, por primera vez, y con mucho esfuerzo e ilusión, Lorca se suma a esta celebración organizando la "Noche de los Museos".
Para esta ocasión, y en unas fechas tan especiales para Lorca, los museos de... la ciudad se unen para abrir sus puertas de forma gratuita en horario nocturno, exhibiendo sus fondos artísticos permanentes, además de complementar esta iniciativa con una programación de actividades que incluye visitas guiadas al casco histórico, animación con personajes de otras épocas, representaciones teatrales, pasacalles y conciertos.
El objetivo de realizar estas actividades es acercar el patrimonio y la cultura a los ciudadanos invitándoles a descubrir una nueva forma de conocer su historia.
Los lugares propuestos son:
Centro de Visitantes, Museo de Bordados del Paso Encarnado, muBBla y Capilla del Rosario, Casa-Museo del Huerto Ruano, Plaza de España, Teatro Guerra, Iglesia de San Francisco y Museo de Bordados del Paso Morado.

Por último, Hostelor nos propone una ruta gastronómica por los bares y restaurantes de Lorca, denominada: YO DE TAPAS Y MUSEOS POR LORCA, en la que por sólo 2€ podremos degustar una sabrosa tapa y una bebida.
In May it is celebrated the International Day of the Museums and this year, for the first time, and with a lot of effort and illusion, Lorca adds to this celebration organizing the " Night of the Museums ".
